Is the clutter in your home stressing you out? Are you making late payments on bills because you can’t find them? Do you just wish you had time to tackle that “troubled” area in your house? Are you having trouble deciding what to buy your friend, family member, co-worker or teacher for the holidays?
Relax, because This Mess is a House is here for you!
You haven’t used it? You don’t need it!
The kids haven’t played with it. They don’t need it!
Go through once and get rid of stuff - then go through it again!
For $50 an hour - you get 2 hard working women who will get you started when you are stuck!
Sorry - until the gas prices drop or we grow wings - we are only servicing the Northshore.
You know it is that time of year again? You may be in serious need of a maid, but what if she can’t get past the clutter? No point in cleaning when the pile of “who knows what” is still sitting around! Have Leaf and Great tackle the clutter and it will make you feel so much better - we promise! Then you will be able to clean your baseboards so much easier!
I confess, I am recovering from a major surgery and have spent the recent days watching TV. As a professional organizer (who stall hasn’t joined any associations), I am hooked on one show - Clean House! We, at This Mess is a House are just your basic common sense, hard working and thinking organizers. We don’t bring in teams and we don’t clean. Anyhoo, today I felt compelled to write to them. Let’s see if they respond. ALso a huge Reno 911 fan Niecey!
I do not need a house clean. However, I moved to the New Orleans area a year ago after being a military wife for 10 years. I started a little organizing business called “This Mess is a House.com” I don’t charge much - $25 but do it to help people still recovering.
I am writing to invite you to New Orleans. BTW - I would fit right in with your cast while you are down here - I am a bit of a character:)
* Go to you attic or garage where you store all your previous year’s beads and throws
* Go click over here and support the troops today
* Whatever you don’t donate to the troops, go donate to a local school or organization asking for beads etc…
* Start Mardi Gras season without your old beads!
We love them, we hate them, our jaws drop at them, but we can all relate to a portion of them. No matter your reaction while watching any of those organizing shows, we can all come away feeling that someone’s life has been changed for the better. When This Mess is a House enters your castle and tackle your “troublesome area”- we fix it quickly and efficiently. We work with what you have and we don’t create more work for you. We don’t come in with teams of hundreds and film crews. We can’t provide you with carpenters, new furniture or big screen TV’s, like you seen on those shows. We don’t come with a cleaning team, we come to get your “problemed area” in order. We leave you with a house that is much easier to manage than when we entered. And best of all, we leave you with something we know you can maintain on your own.
We are the most reasonably priced organizers in town. We enjoy what we do and find our team approach is extremely successful. For an investment as little as $200, you could make a huge difference in your life.
I asked our 2007 to please send any testimonials for our new clients. This is the first one we got back and we are thrilled.
Oh my g-d Greta are you kidding? You are my hero, I’d adopt you if I could. Send this to anyone and everyone—Greta and Leaf are the best!!! They work fast and furious, are honest (very important) and (equally important) fun to be around. They are cheap therapy and will leave your house looking like a Gap store. They have enough “mommy sense” to know what stays and what goes in terms of clothes/games/toys in relation to your kids age and have the amazing capacity to recall where all items were placed days/weeks after they come. As Siskal and Ebert would say “Two thumbs up!!”. Anyone can call or e-mail me with any additional questions or concerns but I think you guys already know how awesome I think you are. And as a side note, I have had hired other “organizers” in the past and these firecrackers blow them away!!!

Not that we don’t like them, but come on…you know you could purge the contents in half of them. They are fabulous for holiday decorations and winter clothes storage…but that misc. ones filled with junk…not.
Now that you are up in your attic taking down your winter clothes, make sure to only put back what you absolutely need for the next season. Condense and LABEL & walk away until next year.
Don’t stress out about the huge pile of junk in your dining room! Let Leaf and Greta organize the “messy” area, so you can relax and do more important things!
